1986 – 1999      Educated in Los Angeles, California, USA.
                        UCLA class of 1996: B.A. in Cultural Geography. 

1996 – 1999      Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst and Cartographer for the
                        Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History.

1999 – 2002      Participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program as an Assistant
                        Language Teacher in Kagoshima City, Japan. 

           2003      Spanish language teacher on Peace Boat’s 41st and 43rd Global Peace Voyages. 

2004 – 2005      Human rights observer for Peace Brigades International’s (PBI) Guatemala project. 

           2005      English language teacher in Curitiba, Brazil, while studying Portuguese. 

2005 – 2006      English staff writer and photographer for Peace Boat’s 52nd Global Peace Voyage.

2006 – 2007      Independent Photojournalist documenting Guatemala's Post-War Social Movement.
                        Will display current work in the form of photo essays in the following blog.
